A tiger doesn’t need to justify his actions, neither does a six year old. It’s unfortunate how as adults now, we’re suddenly the sole proprietors of our own happiness and success. But at the same time this allows for a lot more opportunity. Perhaps some of you could relate when I claim that I feel as if I’m simply doing well in the science of life. Sure the chemistry happening within our bodies are right on helping to produce this fragile state of consciousness, but I can’t help but to feel rather empty even with this extraordinary process happening within me.
What would be the best way to spend our short time on this mote of dust elevated by a sunbeam? Who am I to say, but I’m seeing all these smart and talented individuals pursuing their dreams and doing what they love and I have to admit I’m rather envious. So lets do something about it.
A year from today, both you and I would be well on our way with our dreams, I’m sure of it.
A girl once asked me why I liked her so much. Long story short, she probably got over me. Leaving me with a set of unreciprocated feelings. I remember having a difficult time then, desperately scrambling for reasons on why I adored her. But in the end, I was dumbfounded. Why you might ask?
I simply did not have an answer. One may even inquire on whether or not there is even an answer for such a question. I liked her for who she was, and at that moment even the most convincing points would be null. In summation this is simply a short rant, but I’m positive many of us has felt such emotions before.
As I stumbled across this strip, I became quite envious at how an individual could be so innocent with their desires. Why can’t people be liked for who they are without specific reasons? In my opinion something such as human attraction could not be defined to such an extent. Even if it could, who would want to do so? Our most primitive desires are usually the ones that lead to the great pleasures in life.
So why did I like you? I don’t know, but your gooch smells.
One last post before the New Year. I wish you all the best, my friends, my family, and everyone that plays a part in my life, both big or small.
I propose that we all try to better ourselves in 2011. Hopefully in 365 days I will be able to see how I’ve matured as an individual, a friend, a brother as well as a student.

I know better than to go against fate, but I’m going to pull on these sails with all my might, and hopefully I’ll be satisfied with the person I’m about to become in 2011.
So here’s a toast, one for all of my accomplishments in 2010. May the New Year bring both happiness and prosperity for you and I.
Life is full of people whom we do not appreciate. But do we need to call out every single jerk out there? At times its smarter to just bury one’s indifference’s as confronting them wouldn’t be of much use anyway.
But hey, if you want to be caressed by an octopus then be my guest.
So what do we do when we’re not smart or talented? There isn’t much if we think about it.
At times we say the stupidest things, the most ridiculous… yet it still makes sense within our heads. This persona that we’ve all learned to develop can actually be taking over our lives. So why exactly do we allow a personality that was developed to satisfy the demands of others to become our number one priority? Shouldn’t we want to satisfy our own needs before others? And how exactly can others help if they don’t even know what we want?
But sometimes, all this trouble could help us sift through our friends to see which ones actually care enough to notice these subtle hints.
Life is a game, Play it.
Life is a challenge, Meet it.
Life is an opportunity, Capture it.
With all that life has to offer, I gotta say that its a magical world out there. From the small things to the big things, life sure has a way to make you smile no matter the situation. Don’t we all have things to be thankful for? Don’t lie now…
See? That thought that just rushed across your mind, that’s something you’re thankful for! Other than that, life supplies us with so much opportunity. Who knows where tomorrow might take us.
While on the topic of magic, I can’t wait to be a dad. When I envision myself in the future, I see an awesome father. But in the end I guess it would be up to my kids to determine that. But one things for sure, I’m going to replace electricity with magic.
“We do not stop playing because we grow old… we grow old because we stop playing.”
How accurate is this statement? Can we really determine how long we’re able to retain onto our youth? In my opinion, we can’t be young forever. This just makes this period of our lives that much more meaningful. People say beauty is timeless, but what is its worth if its always there? We come to appreciate things more if we know that they wont be able to withstand the test of time.
But hey, let’s just enjoy it for now.
What else are friends for? Sometimes there isn’t such a thing as the right thing to say. At those moments all a friend can do is simply be there for you. People don’t always have the words to make you feel better, but they always have their arms to hug you, their ears to listen and for those true friends, they have a heart, a heart that’s aching to see you smile again.
Life is short, I hope all the friends that I now have, and the ones I make in the future would be able to supply me with the first two.
